The GED® Reasoning through Language Arts Test (RLA) evaluates your reading and writing skills. You will have 2.5 hours for about 46 questions that require you to: ... compose an extended response to a writing prompt based on reading one or two passages or a passage accompanied by a graphic (writing skills).

The GED Mathematical Reasoning test is a 115-minute, single-section test that covers basic mathematics topics, quantitative problem-solving, and algebraic questions. Topics on the GED Math are number operations and number sense (about 20% to 30% of the test), measurement & geometry (approximately 20% to 30% of the test), data analysis and statistics (about 20% to 30% ), and Algebra (approximately 25% to 30%of the test).

The social studies portion of the GED test is designed to check your knowledge of history, government, economics, and geography. These are divided up in the following ways: Civics and Government (50% of the section) ... Geography and the World (15%).

The GED® Science Test evaluates your ability to understand, interpret, and apply science information. You will have 90 minutes to answer 34 questions that are based on reading passages, graphics such as diagrams, tables, graphs, and maps, or a combination of the two.

Applicants must sit for an entrance test, which includes English, Math, Social Studies, and Science. The entrance test will take place online via BEAM remote learning platform. After the entrance test, successful applicants would be contacted with further details about next steps.
